Recovering Me, Discovering Joy

This book is written by a very local author who
attends and speaks to our NAMI Meetings throughout
the county including North Coastal. Ms. Eisenecher
writes very effectively and descriptively about her life
with anxiety, social phobia, and substance abuse—
mainly alcoholism. She uses her experiences to
educate, offer insights, and enlighten her readers. This
is a book about growth through your experiences and
adversities as well as the wisdom on how to heal the
soul and body. At the end, there is a chapter on
Christianity and also a chapter on how to recognize
authentic success. One half autobiographical, one half
self help, this book offers hope and inspiration for an
improved life!
Thank you Ms. Eisenecher for donating your book
for review.

Thanks Kathy!

We all need inspiration. Inspirational and motivational quotes have the power to move us, make us think and spur us into action. Here is my hand-picked inspirational quote for today:
“Success is not a function of individual talent. It’s the steady accumulation of advantages.” Malcolm Gladwell
